"shall not hunger"
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.” - John 6:35
It’s not easy visiting a new church for the first time, so here is some helpful info for your first visit.
A warm but not intrusive greeting. We are committed to making sure your visit is as hassle free as possible. The first people you meet at Bethel will most likely be our “greeters” who will welcome you, answer any questions you might have, and hand you a weekly program. The program has some helpful info about Bethel, announcements, and the message notes for that week.
A safe place for your kids. There are activities for your children ages infant through 6th grade. Signs will clearly mark the way to the nursery and children’s activities.
The 9:15 and 10:30 Worship Experiences. When you enter Heritage Chapel or the auditorium, feel free to sit wherever you want. If you like coffee, just help yourself to the Refreshment Table.
You will experience a variety of things:
A time of singing: Most services kick-off with a time of singing led by our talented and high-energy Worship Team. This is a great way to connect with God.
A time of giving. Please don’t feel any obligation to give. The offering is intended for our regular attenders. Those of us who believe in the way God is working through this church give the biblical “tithe” to support what is happening.
A strategic announcement time. As a group of people who desire to make a huge positive difference in the world it is important that we are all on the same page. At some point in the service, we will communicate where we are going together.
A creative media time. Often we will communicate through various media to support or introduce the theme of the day. If may be through skits, movie clips, songs, etc. Come out and see how enjoyable it can be to learn!
A message time. Someone will speak for about 30 minutes. About 90 percent of the time it will be our insightful and often humorous Lead Pastor.
After the service. We’ll end the service with a song or prayer 60 - 75 minutes after starting. Have something to eat or more coffee at our Refreshment Table. Say “hi” to a few people, you will find our church to be incredibly friendly. On the way out, take a second to check out Guest Services.
Thanks for being our guest!
