Who We Are

Creating and growing passionate disciples of Jesus Christ who fulfill God's purpose in their lives.

To become a multiethnic and multigenerational community of passionate Jesus followers who bring God's Kingdom to earth by acting justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly. Through the Spirit's leading and power, we will transform our local city, extend regional influence, and have global impact.

Our Values

We value global missions, believing that Bethel is called to pray, give, and go in support of the Great Commission.
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations...” Matthew 28:19

We value biblical teaching, believing that the Word of God is what truly transforms lives.
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” 2 Timothy 3:16

We value family ministry, believing that effective ministry to marriages and our children and youth shape the future of our church, community, and nation.
“And what does the Lord want? Godly children from your union. So guard your heart; remain loyal to the wife of your youth.” Malachi 2:15

We value biblical community, believing that loving relationships provide the optimal environment for discipleship.
“All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they
continued to meet together in the temple courts.
They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.” Acts 2:44-46

We value reaching all people, believing that we are called to make His love known to everyone.
“For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” Luke 19:10

We value a grace-filled environment believing that our words, attitudes, and actions with other people should reflect God’s grace to us.
“Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.” Colossians 4:6

We value excellence, believing that God’s work is worthy of our best efforts.
“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.” Ecclesiastes. 9:10

We value servant leadership believing that the church should be led by those with a spirit of humility and servanthood.
“Since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet. I have given you an example to follow.” John 13:14-15
